Early years and Education

Chitrak Shah belongs to a well educated and cultured family. His father is an entrepreneur too, while his mother is a homemaker. Chitrak has grown under the lights of his father that’s where he got exposed to the business world. After completing his higher education he went abroad to pursue Business Management from one of the reputed business schools. After completing his MBA, he returned back and joined his father’s business thus helping him to expand their real estate business. During his childhood he remained a very talented student in his studies, and during his college days he had been the part of many cultural and social economic programs. He has successfully presented many marketing presentations and research papers on emerging entrepreneurship in India, for which he has also won many recognitions and awards.

Step towards the real business world

As born and brought up in a business family, it was quite obvious that Chitrak Shah will make his career in business. What it was not expected that he will make his own identity coming out of his father’s shadow and will be known by himself. Soon after earning his Master degree, he jumped in his family business. His first interaction with business was made quite early during his higher education, though a few years after entering his family business he started his own enterprise and started playing in real estate by his own without any support from his father. Real estate is one of those businesses that have always attracted the young Shah of the Shah family. It is only his will and extreme dedication which has made him to start his own venture as Shivalik Projects few years ago, which is now the leading real estate company in Gujarat. The Shivalik Group now has more than 10 major residential and commercial projects under pipeline in some of the posh localities of Ahmadabad, Surat , Rajkot and other parts of Gujarat. 

Present and future prospects:

Presently Chirak is leading the Shivalik Group towards new milestones and alongside he has also started the chain of luxury hotels in Gujarat under the brand name Platinum hotel. There are many more future projects to come under the hood of Shivalik group and platinum hotels.
